Yoga is a journey
to your true self
Come as you are.
Start where you are.
Yoga isn't about how deep you can bend; it’s about connecting with your breath and building strength from within. You don’t need to be flexible to start - you just need to be present.
I prioritize body awareness over "perfect" poses. The goal isn't to master the asana, but to find stability and ease within yourself. Forget about touching your toes; focus on breathing, moving, and respecting your limits.
Move your body,
free your mind.
The majority of our time is spent in Asana - the practice of intentional movement and postures. Beyond just physical exercise, these movements are designed to refine body awareness, release tension, and help us get out of our heads to prepare the body for stillness.
We close each session with meditation, usually practiced lying down in Savasana to quiet the mind and move into deep relaxation. We use this time for self-reflection to deepen our understanding of ourselves, finding a calm that stays with you long after you leave the mat.
Vinyasa is often called "flow" yoga. It’s a rhythmic style where each movement follows the natural pace of your breath, creating a synchronised practice that enhances body awareness and reduces stress. It's a moving meditation helping to quiet the mind while building steady strength and flexibility in the body.
Absolutely. Everyone starts somewhere, and you don’t need to be flexible or have any prior experience to join. My classes are designed to be accessible, and I offer different options for most poses so you can move at a pace that feels right for your body.
The essentials for yoga are simple:
A Yoga Mat:
Most people prefer to bring their own for comfort and hygiene. However, if you're new to the practice and don't have one yet, let me know - I have a few spares I can bring along for you.
Comfortable Clothes:
Anything breathable that allows you to move and stretch freely.
Water:
A bottle to stay hydrated during and after class.
Bookings are handled via WhatsApp to keep things simple and personal. If you can’t make it, please let me know in advance so I can offer your spot to someone else.
Please aim to arrive 5–10 minutes before we begin. This gives you plenty of time to set up your mat, settle into the space, and leave the rush of the day behind.
Increased Flexibility:
Gradually eases tension in muscles and joints, improving your natural range of motion.
Building Steady Strength:
Uses your own body weight to strengthen the core, arms, and legs for better overall fitness.
